The Nationals Duty Senator for Lyne John Williams has welcomed the preselection of Dr. David Gillespie as The Nationals candidate for the seat of Lyne.

Senator Williams said Dr Gillespie is an excellent choice, as he has an in-depth knowledge of the concerns of people in Lyne, particularly in the area of health.

“David started his business in Port Macquarie. He knows the cost of employment, the cost of running a business, the hard work that you have to put in and the responsibility of his position to deliver the services we so desperately need around the nation.

“His success and professional reliability will transfer to the representative advocacy role that he will play.

“David will certainly get out on the front foot and listen to the people and I am sure he will do a magnificent job come next election.” Senator Williams said.
