Popular entertainer Kamahl enthralled a large crowd at the Inverell RSM's Auditorium on Friday night to help raise funds for the Inverell Men's Shed.

Singing some of his most popular songs mixed in with some very amusing stories the crowd were transfixed with this veteran entertainer's deep baritone voice.

Senator John Williams patron of the Inverell Men's Shed assisted in getting Kamahl to come to Inverell for the night.

John asked Kamahl how he kept so young. "Kamahl's reply was instead of taking vitamins now I takes preservatives."

Secretary Ray Boon was very happy with the funds raised by the night.
